Title of Song: We Need The Girls
Composer: Jerron Lee
Lyricist: Jerron Lee
Vocals: Jerron Lee
Date Written: Oct 2006
This song is about my church group actually. I wrote this song last year to describe the situation in my previous cell group. We had only one girl in our midst so I didn’t think it was homogenous at all. With more girls, it would have been more fun in the group.

*You may think that I’m a Chee Ko Pek
but I have this to say
You may think that I’m a fool on earth
but I will say these words
We need the female force
to carry the cross(es)
to spread the words
to all our friends
We need those gentleness
& kindness
to say to those
who need God most
We need the boys & THE GIRLS

Nice song! I like it. The lyrics are fresh and rather cheeky too, haha!
Keep up the good stuff.

To be consistent with the cheekiness of the song, you should try with a faster tempo. And a Pop-song feel is better than the sentimental piano accompaniment. I had to laugh when I heard this song! LOL

[...] Kah Loong wrote this song last year too (he seems to be clearing his backlog recently!), and this song was a reflection of what was going on in his cell group at that time. (More info on this song can be found here.) [...]
